In Mischief, the young twins, Elphin and Spry, feel they are being ignored by the adults so they devise a plan to gain more attention. The adults have certainly been preoccupied with other matters. In particular, the Major and the twins’ father, Hector, have become quite obsessed by a mysterious liquid that is dripping from a bottle in the shed.
