That’s Work! CD-ROM

Following the success of the That’s Life! interactive CD-ROM, we are pleased to bring you That’s work!, the second in the series. That’s Work! interactive CD-ROM is based on 16 workplace conversations in two different workplaces. It aims to improve the language and employability skills of low level learners and highlights the importance of:

• showing initiative at work
• reliability and punctuality
• socialising and the use of humour in the workplace
• understanding and responding to instructions
• problem solving, negotiating and teamwork
• employer expectations

Each conversation is followed by six interactive language activities, including vocabulary, listening, comprehension and pronunciation.
